Volunteer checks can only be ordered if you:

Will be taking on the role completely voluntarily to benefit the community;
Will not be working as an employee, contractor, subcontractor, staff member, or officer of an organisation;
Will not be receiving a salary or any other perks or benefits for the role; and/or
Are a student undertaking compulsory placement as a requirement of an Australian-based academic institution or training course.

+ What You’ll Get: Once complete, you’ll receive a digital certificate you can easily share with employers or other third parties. Your result will be available for three months from the issue date. If you require a check after three months, or the purpose of your original check changes, you may need another check.
+ Is This the Right Check for You?: This check is accepted by most employers and third parties within Australia. If you require a check for visa or immigration purposes, or are working internationally, you may need a National Police Check (NPC) issued by the Australian Federal Police.
